Described by one radio presenter as ‘compelling, inspirational and truly amazing’; Poet Michaela began writing performance poetry in her bedroom in 2006. Since then, she has never failed to hold an audience captive with her unique style.

Following the release of her debut EP ‘May the 22nd’ released in 2007, Michael has gained notoriety leading to performances at many of London’s most famous poetry nights including The Sunday Show, ADLIB and many more. She has also featured on a number of satellite television stations.

‘Singing ‘n’ Poetizing’ with the boldness of a preying lion, Michaela is also a battle-poet winning a number of ‘Slam’ poetry competitions. She has also taken her enigmatic style of poetry to the US where she toured across New York and Orlando.

As a strong believer of Christian theology Michaela has also recited her sometimes hard-hitting words of reality at some of the UK biggest majority churches. Her newly released album ‘Fixing Barbie’ is currently enjoying the No. 1 slot on the Colourful Radio Newcomers Chart.

2009 has been a great success for Michaela; selling out Stratford circus, winning Best Female at this year’s Gospel Music Awards and being accepted to the renowned Guildhall School of Music & Drama School however, 2010 is also set to be ground-breaking for this exciting young poet.
